Alloway New Jersey Autumn ~ Blooming from Within

“We all have the ability to gift our children experiences that fuel their confidence and serve them in a positive way that will affect their lives forever.” ~Jennifer Roth

My daughter Autumn is 14 years old and she is in a very special time of her life. She is now a young woman in the throes of figuring out who she is and how to navigate the world through this new lens. Truth be told it’s been a struggle for her adjusting to these new emotions and effects that “womanhood” has on your body and mind. Any parent of a teenage daughter can attest that it can be challenging to witness them going through these struggles and the outbursts of emotion that they can evoke.

As a mother I cherish this time with my daughter. I see this as an opportunity to hold her hand and guide her through this journey of becoming a woman. I am extremely open with her and talk to her about the many issues that we face as women. I teach her about the importance of self care and self love while modeling it so that she sees me leading by example. I include her in trips to the gym and making nourishing meals as well as talk to her about the importance of having healthy outlets and being her own friend.

I am blown away by how confident and strong Autumn is. This transitional time in her life is symbolic of blooming from within. So it only seemed appropriate to do a photo shoot demonstrating that. Gifting her this experience to see her strength and beauty has been so powerful. She will forever look back on these photos and remember this time in a positive light. I am incredibly grateful to share the bond that I do with her and look forward to creating more art together. She is my daughter, my teacher, my friend and it is truly a privilege to share this journey with her. To say that I am proud of the woman she is becoming would be an understatement. Look out world because this young woman is going to do BIG things…

Thank you jennifer designs events for the incredible floral work and your artistic vision.

Alloway New Jersey Danna ~ Embodying empowerment

“Everything begins and ends with the self. Embracing, accepting, forgiving, and loving equals mastery of self and life.” ~Danna Yahav

Danna embodies empowerment. She is fierce, wise, and mystical. She is passionate about helping others connect with their authentic truth and create the life of their dreams. As a soul coach she awakens others to their power and teaches them how to connect with their divine alignment.

Danna approached me to help her create magical images that reflect her mission to empower others. She needed images for her business platform and branding needs so we explored the different sides of her offerings. From strong and fierce to playful and free we were able to capture the many facets of Danna.

It was a crisp late winter afternoon and the golden sun provided the perfect light for our vision. Danna explored in nature, cleared the energy, and tapped into her inner power and light. I was honored to share this space with her and capture these gorgeous images for her business and personal needs.

Alloway New Jersey Beth ~ Trusting inner source

“Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.” ~Dalai Lama

Beth is an empowered woman. She is very grounded in her spiritual practices and guides others in their own healing work. I was thrilled to collaborate with her and create some images that reflect her spirituality as the work she is doing in the world is so aligned with my passions.

As Beth approaches the completion of her 200 hour shaktinanda yoga training, we wanted to document this exciting time in her journey. She is now guiding others to tune into their bodies and aiding them in energetic healing practices. These images are a beautiful demonstration of her abilities and desire to help others achieve inner peace and happiness.

Witnessing Beth tune into her inner source and harness her divine energy was extraordinary. Her peaceful yet playful energy truly inspired me. I am so grateful to have created this beautiful and spiritual art with her and I am so honored to have been a part of the positive impact she is bestowing upon the world.

Alloway New Jersey Stacey ~ Surrendering to grief

“Grief is a messy, unpredictable process with a life of its own. It’s a thief – sneaking up on you when you least expect it. And it’s elusive– not there when you predict it will be. It teaches you that you must surrender to it. You have no choice but to surrender to the avalanches of emotion. You hope that in some way, every time you cry, your heart becomes a little less broken and that with every avalanche, you heal.” ~Stacey Friedman

Stacey is an incredible woman. She has such a presence about her, you can truly feel her power. She is brave, strong, and passionate. So when she reached out to me and asked me if I’d be willing to create images that represented her grief in a symbolic way I was honored. To be given the privilege to aid her in her healing journey and to hold a safe space for her to express herself and her emotions was extraordinary.

Grief is something that we all experience at one point in our lives. But it looks different for each and every one of us. Walking through this process and allowing yourself to feel the waves as they crash over you is extremely difficult work. I was so impressed by Stacey’s willingness to bear her soul to create this art. Her vulnerability took an immense amount of courage. But that is the birth place of healing and I think the images we created tapped into that.

The human spirit yearns for connection in difficult times. We all feel pain and struggle and we all deserve to feel like we are not alone when we are going through it. When you view these images I hope you connect with the power of Stacey’s vulnerability. We all experience grief. We experience it in our own way, but none of us are doing it alone…
